Comment of the Day: Be careful what you ask for, you just might get it. Even if it's not really what you want, or need.

John Conyers may be considering the possibility of initiating impeachment proceedings against Vice President Dick Cheney, but it is too late in the game. Officials have had evidence of Cheney's illegal activities for years, yet have chosen to do nothing. They have let this administration slide on their blatant trampling of the U.S. Constitution and have enabled the Bush-Cheney cabal for so long that the damage will take years to over come, if in fact it ever will.

Blue Cross of California has sent letters to state physicians asking them to inform on patients that have pre-existing conditions that may not have been on their applications. Sure insurance fraud can be a problem, but is it worth violating the doctor-patient relationship to catch the few real cheaters? We think not, and so do the physicians. Time for a smack down?

Evangelical Christiansare waging a war of intolerance against Muslims. Are they seeking the End of Days to fulfill their version of religion?/p>

The FBI is in the process of compiling a database of highly personal information under the guise of law enforcement. But where will it stop? What is to keep them from gathering information on all citizens. Would you be willing to submit to an eye scan or DNA check for a routine traffic stop? Neither would we. Big Brother is here, folks, get used to it.
