Stand back! It’s a blog developer cage match! Blog Fight! WordPress and Movable Type Square Off! Looks like Anil Dash—who rather famously tried to smear me and LGF in our early days—has put his foot in it again. (Yes, LGF’s detractors have been pulling the same stunt for a long time.)

I’m just a disinterested but somewhat amused spectator in this battle; LGF runs on my own custom built PHP/MySQL application (currently managing close to 5,000,000 comments without a hiccup), and whenever I’m compelled to work with either one of those programs it feels like a huge step backward.

But may the best geek win.
