More on 'Commander Guy'

It appears that the handlers of our president, George W. Bush, are now claiming he is "A" Commander Guy, not "The" Commanders, according to an editorial by A. Alexander over at The Progressive Daily Beacon.

Writes Mr. Alexander:

Honestly, what is the White House's sudden rush to clarify that Mister Bush is just "A" commander guy and doesn't consider himself to be "The Commander Guy"? He's the "Decision Maker" and self-proclaimed "Decider-in-Chief," why not "The Commander Guy" or, perhaps, "The Commander Guy-in-Chief"? What's the diff?

Well, there isn't a difference, of course. It just seems that the White House has finally realized that not even Karl Rove can spin enough lies and illusions to make George W. Bush appear presidential again, to help him win over an increasingly disgusted public, and to make his toileted approval numbers rebound. In fairness to Rove, Jesus couldn't make the people like "The Commander Guy" ... er ...sorry, a commander guy. And leaving people with the impression that Mister Bush coined yet another title for himself, "The Commander Guy," certainly isn't going to help the cause, either.

Do you think that Rove, et al., are so embroiled in their own scandals they don't have the time to control the president as much as they did before? Perhaps that's why Bush's approval ratings are now lower than his father's.
